Frequently Asked Questions
-

The Standard Fellowship runs for eight weeks.

How much time should Fellows expect to commit?
In addition to weekly sessions, Fellows are expected to complete assignments and reflection work between meetings. Consistent effort is part of the experience.
-
What is the Field Lab?
The Field Lab is a structured, real-world application experience built into the Fellowship. It is designed to test decision-making, leadership, communication, and execution in a live environment.
Preparation occurs beforehand, and a formal debrief follows.
-
How large is each cohort?
Cohorts are intentionally small to allow for direct mentorship, accountability, and meaningful discussion.
Enrollment is capped to protect the standard of the experience.
-
Who is eligible to apply?
The Fellowship is designed for:
Rising high school seniors
Recent high school graduates
Young men ages 17–18
-
What if my son is already high-achieving?
High-performing students often succeed academically but may not yet have built independent execution systems.
The Fellowship strengthens self-leadership, decision-making, and ownership beyond school deadlines.
-
What if my son struggles with discipline?
The Fellowship provides structured expectations and consistent accountability.
It is designed for young men who are willing to be coached and are open to growth.
If a young man is unwilling to accept accountability, the program may not be the right fit.
-
Is admission guaranteed?
No.
Enrollment is limited and applicants are accepted based on readiness and fit.
-
Will parents receive updates?
Yes.
Parents receive program expectations at the beginning and communication at key milestones. If concerns arise, families are notified.
-
What if my son misses a session?
Full attendance is expected. Because the Fellowship is cumulative, consistency matters.
If an unavoidable conflict arises, communication is required in advance.
-
Is this a therapy or counseling program?
No.
The Standard Fellowship is a mentorship program focused on discipline, execution, and readiness. It does not provide licensed counseling or clinical services.
-
Where are sessions held?
Sessions are held in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Location details are provided to accepted families prior to the start of the program.
We have partnered with Caddo Office to be able to hold Cohort in different areas of DFW.
-
Is there a refund policy?
Tuition is $600 per Fellow.
This covers instruction, materials, structured programming, the Field Lab experience, and graduation.
Tuition secures a Fellow’s seat in the cohort. Payment details and program policies are provided upon acceptance.
Because enrollment is limited, refunds are not available once the program begins.
-
What happens after the program ends?
Fellows graduate with a completed project, a personal execution framework, and structured reflection on their growth.
As The Standard Institute expands, additional programming and alumni opportunities may become available.
